I am drawn to repetitive making, to intensive hand labour. I enjoy the meditative nature of this slow unfolding of the work, and how it allows ideas to fully manifest, for the threads of thoughts to untangle and reweave themselves.

Recently I have been thinking about how work and women are historically connected, about sewing and weaving and the threads that wind through both the truth and myth of women's work.
